Follow the Aqueduct...

You know the Pont du Gard of course, but were you aware that it is just the most spectacular and best preserved part of a grandiose aqueduct that in its 50 km course, steps over the Gardon, flows around hills, goes underground and comes back out to let the waters of the source of the Eure run from Uzès all the way to Nîmes la Romaine?

And when the Aqueduct leaves the cool gorges of the Gardon to cross the garrigue, it a stone here, and a little bridge over there that seems to lead nowhere, clues in a game that will take you across lands rich in colour, flavour and fragrance, through villages and landscapes.
