at the crossroads of Camisards' history

Tornac, at the crossroads of once important roads, is a landmark in Camisard history.
The castle, whose origins date back to the 11th century through its square tower - in ruins since 1792 - is being restored.
Standing on a rock, it offers an interesting panorama of the Gardon plain which it overlooks.
In the nearby surroundings, the Romanesque church of St Baudile and its cypresses has been perfectly restored.

Free access to the castle by a stony but passable road.
