The Cévennes National Park covers three departments, Lozère, Gard and Ardèche, and concerns the two regions Languedoc-Roussillon and Rhône-Alpes

An exceptional heritage - The natural, landscape, architectural and historic heritage of the Cévennes National Park is remarkable.

A living territory - Unesco rankings: Unesco has two tools for the conservation of biodiversity and ecosystems: biosphere reserves and sites inscribed on the World Heritage List.
In 1985, the quality of its humanized sites, the particular balance between man and a nature that has been developed for centuries by successive generations, and the concern to combine protection and development earned the Cévennes National Park to be designated by UNESCO as a "biosphere reserve".

In 2011, it was the agropastoral Mediterranean cultural landscapes of the Causses and Cévennes that were inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage list.
The universal value of expression in the space of centuries-old farming practices in these territories is thus recognized, as are the associated skills and traditions.

Outdoor activities - The Parc area is a privileged place for certain outdoor activities.Hunting, fishing, gathering, in particular, are also good tools for monitoring and preserving the environment, insofar as their practice is respectful of the environment.

Hiking and nature sports - Nothing like sports to discover the riches of the Cévennes National Park at your own pace.

The Nature Festival - The Cévennes National Park offers an annual entertainment program divided into three booklets: "Les Printanières", "Les Estivales", "Les Automnales".
These events are aimed at adults and children, residents and visitors to the area.
A rich and varied program: short hikes, naturalist or storytelling walks, know-how workshops, exhibitions, conferences, evenings…

All this to discover or rediscover the exceptional natural and cultural heritage of the National Park, accompanied by a specialist on the given theme.
